Theres no concrete evidence for the existence OR non-existence of God, otherwise well, everyone would believe in not only God, but the SAME God. If you take the term 'scientific' into a more liberal or historic definition and include the field of mathematics. The universes detailed history and improbable odds, from everything such as the big bang, to abiogenesis, to the insanely lucky odds of the position, tilt, orbit etc. of our planet around our sun, to the existence of mammals, and then the homo-sapien. Things like the gravitational constant, pi, lightspeed, finite numbers, that, if changed even in the slightest, would of caused an entirely different existence (more-likely, non-existence) for not only us but our universe. I guess *technically* this fits into astro-physics, physics, and loosely biology, which are scientific fields. But logically and for the sake of this argument I would consider them maths, since it's focusing more on the pure statistical probability of them. That's a very vague explanation but I would ask that you research what we believe the estimated odds for all of these things are and then tell me that there was no divine power behind it. It would be like someone buying a lottery ticket and winning the largest multi-million dollar jackpot every week of their life and then saying 'well maybe they're not rigging it and just getting lucky'. As for *WHO* that God is, that's for you to decide. I personally know it's Yahweh. I hold that everything is the Bible is the true and inspired word of the Lord, as written through his interpreters. I believe there is plenty of secondary historical evidence for almost the entirely of the Bible. I believe that Adam and Eve we're the first humans, and I believe that many of their descendants lived hundreds of years. However, where I do differ, is that I do not believe Adam and Eve lived 500,000 years ago before the start of the 'homo-sapien' existence, and believe it was much more likely that they were not the literal first man and woman but rather the first fully-sentient man and woman, things that support this are the timeline of oral history, and the 'mitochondrial Eve' of genetics etc. Obviously however, there are many other equally valid and scientific theories to justify MY God, and others Gods. Because at the end of the day, they are THEORIES. I chose to believe what I do, and you are free to do the same. HOWEVER, I do think that those who believe in NO divine figure, whether it be a 'sky-daddy', the mathematical constants themselves, or Yahweh like me, are fairly mathematically illiterate. 21 Responder Compartilhar Avatar do usuário nível 1 bartholomewjohnson · há 18 h Simple, God is not bound by science as we know it 15 Responder Compartilhar"
